Susan Bottrell is an American-French artist living and working in Paris. Her work weaves the themes of memory and time. From her paintings she has created luxurious silk scarves to make beautiful, wearable pieces of art.
'The Henry' is named after the writer Henry Miller, whose passion for living life to the fullest has long inspired her. The hand-painted design is a black labyrinth with a red-hot border, invoking Miller's lifelong search for truth and love.
IVRE Paris is really an extension of Susan's studio practice. For her, making art is a way of making meaning, out of what she sees, feels and experiences in life. IVRE Paris offers the freedom to expand that vision by connecting her passion and work as well as the work of other artists to a broader audience
