BORDALLO MELON BOWL

This beautifully crafted Majolica pottery has been manufactured in Portugal for over a century. Here at PASCALE we particularly love the naturalistic motifs but the range is technically brilliant too and made to an exceptionally  high standard. Dishwasher and microwave safe, it looks high maintenance but isn’t. The range has a pleasing, vintage familiarity but also looks completely contemporary. We particularly like mixing it with other ceramics as the leafy green motif lends a lively note of freshness and texture.  Like the tureen these gorgeous melon bowls are brilliant example of Majolica at its prettiest, lightest best. We love the orange interior contrasting with the soft green exterior and this bowl size is, in our opinion, just right - big enough for soup but small enough for to work as a lovely little desert bowl.  They also make a lovely gift.
