Susan Bottrell is an American-French artist living and working in Paris. Her work weaves the themes of memory and time. From her paintings she has created luxurious silk scarves to make beautiful, wearable pieces of art.
‘Wish You Were Here’ was inspired by a collection of postcards. Working on the theme of memory, she erased words and fragments to readbetween the lines.
IVRE Paris is really an extension of Susan's studio practice. For her, making art is a way of making meaning, out of what she sees, feels and experiences in life. IVRE Paris offers the freedom to expand that vision by connecting her passion and work as well as the work of other artists to a broader audience.
